Driving Fees:

$5 driving fee for every 5 miles from the center of Steamboat Springs
Payment:

Pay the company directly for the babysitting hours

We accept all major credit cards, check or Venmo

$11 service charge will be added to all reservations to cover administrative and processing costs

Gratuity is always appreciated, but never expected

Tips must be given in cash or Venmo directly to the sitter
POLICIES
* There is no charge when booking a sitter. However, credit card or Venmo name will be taken at the time of booking to reserve the sitter. Card will not be charged until the end of service.
* Any cancellation made within 24 hours of confirmed booking will incur a $75 cancellation fee.
* If a reservation start time is changed within 12 hours of the original start time, there is a $20 fee.
* You will receive an email ahead of time with the release form which needs to be signed and dated before the time of your reservation.
* Our insurance policy prevents sitters from driving children in a personal car but public transportation or shuttle service is allowed.
* We are not licensed to provide ski lessons and not insured to be skiing with children.
* We will not babysit sick children, please cancel if your child has green snot, throwing up or has a fever. We reserve the right to evaluate the scenario upon arrival and if your child is sick with 3 or more symptoms and the sitter goes home, you will be charged the minimum hours for the day.
* Steamboat Babysitting Company is not responsible for unforeseen circumstances such as a sick sitter, sitter leaving the company etc. But will do our best to make the situation right.
Big Group Event/Wedding Rates
5 Kids ages 4 and up per sitter
3 Kids ages 3 and younger per sitter
$75/hour for 2 sitters and $35 for each additional sitter.
For Example:
2 sitters = up to 10 kids = $75/hour
3 sitters = up to 15 kids = $110/hour
4 sitters = up to 20 kids = $145/hour
5 sitters = up to 25 kids = $180/hour
6 sitters = up to 30 kids = $215/hour
If 2 or more sitters are required for an event, there will be an additional $42.50 per hour for an Event Coordinator to manage the event, support sitters and check in / check out of children.
$150 fee for providing games, toys, crafts and movies
15-30 minutes on the front end and back end required for set up and tear down
Details for big group events must be finalized at least a week out and if any major changes are made within a week of the event start date/time a $100 fee will be added to invoice
